Just before leaving the U.S. we went to… Canada.  Why not?  We were in Bellingham, which is closer to Canada that the rest of the lower 48, and it was a beautiful day, so we set out with the family for a day in Vancouver.  As usual, full pictures are on Picasa.

Most of our day was spent exploring in Stanley Park, beautifully flush with flowers.

Just across the river/bay from the main downtown stretch of the City, authentic Native America totem poles offer a colorful treat into the world of those that came before us.

Coupled with the world as it is today, looming in glassy brillance.

We wander along the path awith wrap-around views of the city around us, stopping occasionally to venture down onto the sand, take a quick cat nap, or snap a photo.
